Imagine the thrill of riding through the scenic trails of Horseshoe J Dude Ranch, where nature’s beauty surrounds you. As the warm sun shines down, you and your companions embark on a memorable journey, guided by our experienced staff. Please note that our outdoor trails are currently closed for the season, but you can still inquire about rides in our cozy indoor arena.

Trail Riding Adventures: From May to November, our trails come alive with excitement. Each ride is a carefully guided experience through picturesque woods and valleys, where safety is our top priority. Before setting off, our friendly team provides essential instructions to ensure everyone feels confident and secure.

For families with younger children or first-time riders, we offer a delightful 40-minute ride, complete with a staff member walking alongside to assist and encourage. We recommend that children be at least 8 years old for our trail rides, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

After heavy rainfall or snowmelt, we prioritize safety by limiting rides to the upper fields. 

• 40-Minute Ride: $65 + HST
• 60-Minute Ride: $80 + HST
• 30-Minute Hand-Led Pony Rides: Perfect for younger adventurers at $50 + HST per pony/horse

Payment is easy—we accept cash and e-transfers, but please note that we do not take debit or credit cards. Additionally, for safety reasons, we have a weight limit of 240 pounds.

Private Lessons (1-2 people): 

60-minute lesson - $150 + HST per person

Package of 4 lessons - $400 + HST per person

Ground Work Session (no riding): $80 + HST per person

Group Lessons (3+ people): 

Single one hour lesson - $120 + HST per person

Package of 4 lessons - $350 + HST per person
